WtWare server administrator as Debian/Ubuntu

Post by ITaluone »

Hi

It would be cool, if the server administration could be some sort of unix-based environment.

It is just a waste of money for a windows license, only for a service that debian could do as well.

It is cool already. WTware uses text configs, as everything in unix-based environment. Some config features (Everyone/list.wtc for example) only work from text configs and are not supported by Windows-based Configurator. WTware uses standard DHCP, TFTP and HTTP for boot. We use Debian servers for development.
