Yes, it works from a Windows 10 machine (lets call it "client"), clean install without any 'knowledge' of Duo, domain, etc. - just on the same LAN as the Windows server (running Windows 10) I need to connect to (lets call it "server").
Did you test it?
It cannot be that WTware just are unable ...

VNC is a trivial protocol for remote administration. We never tried to make it as fast as physical display. There are no settings to tune VNC in wtware.
There is our own remote administration protocol in wtware: http://wtware.com/docs5/config.html#wtrc
WTRC should be faster than VNC.

Sorry, I don't remember about 5.6.22. In recent version, here is web-interface. If there is no "Files in /config folder" in the web-interface in 5.6.22, then running around is the only solution. Replace SD or press Del at boot start and configure in Setup.
