Re: Need some help with proper Full HD output on a TV

"display=" option in wtware config on Rapsberry does nothing. It's ignored. WTware uses mode that is set by Raspberry firmware. Raspberry firmware set video mode. config.txt is a configuration file for Raspberry firmware. Solution is here. And it's not related to WTware. Official manual about config...

Re: Unable to boot

Delete "disable_splash=1" line in config.txt on SD and try to boot form this SD. If you don't see colored square on screen, it's 100% not wtware problem. Something is wrong on hardware level - SD, Raspberry, HDMI cable or display.

Re: WTware upgrade 5.6.24 -> current

At this point i would need to configure DHCP option 67 What for? , and licensing (as per "Concurrent licenses" section of https://wtware.com/licensing/terms.html). Do i need any additional configuration on the server at this stage? No. or is the upgrade of server not disruptive to clients? Upgrade ...

Re: Orga 930 M Redirection

I didn't find linux smart card driver for idVendor=0780, idProduct=1202. Perhaps, we can redirect it as COM port, because of "cdc_acm 1-1.1.2:1.0: ttyACM0: USB ACM device". Try to redirect this device firstly from windows machine to your RDP server with mstsc.exe. In Remote Desktop Connection option...

Re: desktop set CHERRY DW 5100 with dropouts

Configuration adjustment in config.txt is available on WTware clients. config.txt parsed by raspberry firmware before WTware boots up. WTware 5.8.88 released on December 09, 2019, so raspberry firmware and linux kernel was new at December 09, 2019. Patches applied after December 09, 2019 are not inc...

http://wtware.com/licensing/terms.html
"License is bound to computer network card MAC-address (Ethernet or WiFi MAC-address of the card, that connects terminal to network)."
You need two licenses.

Re: problems with various mouse

One more workaround: add "usbhid.mousepoll=0" before word "quiet" info cmdline.txt on boot SD.

I don't know more methods to fix "lacked response" from wtware side. Try it with raspbian. If problem is reproduced in raspbian, google will offer much more ideas.

Re: SimpleHelp integration

No. WTware writes directly with video card memory. External agent can not see wtware screen.

What are the best features in SimpleHelp? We currently write our own remote assistant and may implement some features.

Re: problems with various mouse

1. mouse_accel_mult = 10
https://wtware.com/docs5/config.html#mouse

2. Try to update bootloader on Pi4. There is information, that new bootloader works better with USB keyboard:

Re: OpenVPN Auto Login?

If the devs would like, I could provide a full write up with screen shots and pictures that they could use to update the documentation (especially the OpenVPN documentation page, which is really lacking) on how to provide a fully secure remote access station for an employee. Please let me know if t...

No, as far as I know. "Attached to firmware from 2019-11-19" in log is a bootcode.bin/fixup4.dat/start4.elf files date.

Re: NFC + SmartCard - only one working on the same time?

No :(

Try this one with usb token: viewtopic.php?f=27&t=49012 This will not work for terminal server, but it may work for VDI scenario, while connecting to console session.

Try to update bootloader. "recovery" section here: https://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads/

They changed something in USB hub code.
