SmartCard reader doesn't work in recent builds

Hi Wtware Team!

I was using with sucess the IDBridge CT30 SmartCard reader in the old 5.6.22 version, but now after a update to versions 6.2.4x it doesn't work anymore. The settings are the same and also same Rasp Pi 3 hardware.
Log file in the attachments.

Can I get some support to use this SmartCard in the newest builds?

Everything (card reader, card, server, user on server) it the same except wtware version? Will it work if you return back to 5.6.22?

I see no easy solution. Smart card redirection was rewritten since 5.6.x. If you have no time for long debugging, stay on old version.

If you have some time, give me debugging logs. Write into terminal config:

smartcard=gempctwin, debug, debug_pcscd

Reboot and reproduce error.

Save the log immediately after you see first incorrect behavior.

Then return back to 5.6.22. Write into terminal config:

Code: Select all

smartcard=gempctwin, debug

Do the same things you do with 6.2.44 before it goes wrong. Save another log.

I can not find a bug that I can fix We do things right. Somewhere on lower levels things goes wrong. Since 5.6.22, additional lower levels were added, and I can not revert changes back...

Here is similar error: https://github.com/LudovicRousseau/PCSC/issues/16 Same reader Gemalto GemPC Twin, same error text "state machine is DEAD". But it's 2017, and final solution "after that i have changed the libusb and ccid drivers version. and now error is fixed". Not a solution really.

Ok, I have changed the libusb and ccid drivers version too. Please try this build:
