System config file location?

Post by TugboatWill »

I'm evaluating WTware and have installed 6.2.4 on a Windows 2022 server. This server is used for a lot of things and I'd like to control which ports are used to remote access to the configurator. Currently https is working on 443. Where in the documentation is this covered?

My network already has a Windows DHCP server but option 66 is already in use. Can I configure WTware to use another option, say 60? If so where is the documentation on this?

I plan on using RaspberryPI 4 for our hardware.

TIA

I figured out the port. That is kept in the registry at [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\WTware\HTTPS_port] and even the BindIP is there. However I can't find where the firewall settings are for the app. Right now it is 443 and I'd like to change that.

Perhaps a document on Windows Registry settings for WTware on Windows?

To change port that wtware https uses reinstall wtware. Setup will ask for port and will restart https service.

DHCP option 66 is a standard for boot server IP. Neither Raspberry nor x86 BIOS will look into another option for boot server IP. To set different option values for different MACs in Windows DHCP use reservation.
