RDP 5.0

Hello,
we are using wtware 5.6.22 on some Pi 3B for testing. Right now we wan't to connect to a Windows 2000 Server SP2 (unfortunately it can't be upgraded) and receive the failure, that the server only supports 8 bit color depth. I think under RDP 5.0 it is the maximum (and it's enough for this application). Is there a way to get it run?

8 bit color removed from wtware many years before Pi. 2003 Server supports 24 bit color.
