2. Try to update bootloader on Pi4. There is information, that new bootloader works better with USB keyboard:

One more workaround: add "usbhid.mousepoll=0" before word "quiet" info cmdline.txt on boot SD.

I don't know more methods to fix "lacked response" from wtware side. Try it with raspbian. If problem is reproduced in raspbian, google will offer much more ideas.
