OpenVPN windows server

Post by robertvg »

Do I understand correctly that the wtware OpenVPN client will not connect to a OpenVPN server on Windows?
https://wtware.com/docs5/openvpn.html

The client connects to the server but then connection is lost, wtware disconnects and the server shows errors 10054

No, you don't.

wtware will connect to properly configured OpenVPN server on Windows. Did you try our config example ?

Thanks, I will try that.
Can I also copy openvpn.cfg from a usb stick to the configs folder on a command line? Is the usb automatically mounted ?
Have some problems accessing the web-interface while connected by wifi.

No.

It's better to boot from USB flash while testing. Because you can disconnect USB flash and write file into config folder on another computer.

Duh, I should have thought about that myself :-(

So if we include the openvpn.cfg we do not need to specify anything further or transfer the 3 client files when starting up ?
The client does not seem to pickup the openvpn settings from the cfg file in the configs directory

https://wtware.com/logs.html

Also, show me screenshot of your "config" directory. File should be named openvpn.cfg
