Existing station require TFTP files to work

Post by vincny »

Hi Aka/Akatik,

So far the software work wonders, except for today.
Today something happen to the station when it reboot it require to re-download the TFTP file from WTware console server.
For some reason it didn't get to upload (*I attach the error below).

How can I prevent it from happening, shouldn't it just use the old config file when the download of new files failed.

Thanks,
Ken

Firewall or antivirus cut TFTP.

It should display error message and then use old config if (1) it has place to save old config, and (2) after if fails to download new files. What happend in fact? Show me the log from client.

Hi Akatik,

The config was push down after the WTware TFTP server rebooted.
I will simulate the issue on a plan downtime this week and upload the log if it reface.

Thanks,
Ken
