USB Wireless Adapter for measurement device

Greetings together,
is it possible to redirect a USB device which is a wireless adapter connecting to measurement devices?
I can redirect the USB device itself but cannot connect any devices through the USB dongle.
I'm using:
usb=ID, debug
where ID obviously is the ID where it's connected to.
Any help is appreciated.
