Is there anything extra I need to do to access images on a digital camera ?
It is a Sony Cybershot DSC-W35, we see it in the USB device list:
USB ID: 054c:0010, bus ID: 1-1.3.3, class: 0x00, subclass: 0x00, Sony Corp. DSC-S30/S70/S75/F505V/F505/FD92/W1 Cybershot/Mavica Digital Cam
Unplugging and plugging in the log:
[ KERNEL] [2348526.150583] usb 1-1.3.3: new high-speed USB device number 10 using dwc_otg
[ KERNEL] [2348526.282819] usb 1-1.3.3: New USB device found, idVendor=054c, idProduct=0010
[ KERNEL] [2348526.282833] usb 1-1.3.3: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=0
[ KERNEL] [2348526.282840] usb 1-1.3.3: Product: Sony DSC
[ KERNEL] [2348526.282849] usb 1-1.3.3: Manufacturer: Sony
However in the terminal server session the server does not show the device.
Thanks,
Robert
