dropouts with desktop set CHERRY DW 3000

2 month ago I wrote about problems with desktop set CHERRY DW 5100. After contact with the manufacterer we found out that the manufacterer has changed some components in the board layout. This caused the dropouts. The manufacterer was able to reproduce the fault and have exchanged the desktop set. Now we use CHERRY DW 3000, but on four working places the dropouts still exists, with the other RPi there are no problems.

We use Raspberry Pi 4B, WTware 5.8.88, 1GB RAM, 2 monitors, current bootloader vl805-000137ab, the following entries I made in cmdline.txt: dwc_otg.lpm_enable=1 usbhid.mousepoll=0 quiet wtboot=mmc

Do you have any ideas to solve this? Shall I send appropriate log?

"Something on USB is not compatible with other". It’s hard to understand the details without digging into USB3 specification. We can only offer to upgrade bootloader to vl805-000137ad (d is newer than b) and the latest linux kernel hoping there is already fix here.

Sorry for the late response (because of illness), today I will upgrade the bootloader to current version and give you an feedback.

After update the bootloader vl805-000137ad and install latest version 5.8.91 the dropouts still exists.
Following variants I have tested:
- vl805-000137ab + 5.8.88
- vl805-000137ab + 5.8.91
- vl805-000137ad + 5.8.88
- vl805-000137ad + 5.8.91
All of them results into dropouts, that means either the mouse courser freezed or the keyboard types letters without stopping. Independent on which USB port the desktop set is mounted.
