How to use Japanese layout keyboard in WTware login screen

Post by Tagami »

Hi Team,

How to configure to use the Japanese layout keyboard in the WTware login screen?
It seems the 'language' parameter cannot support Japanese.
When I have configured 'keyboard' parameter is 'ja', but couldn't be effected.

I'm using latest version of WTware and RaspberryPI 3B.

Tagami.

Find your keyboard layout here: http://ascii-table.com/keyboards.php
And here: http://kbdlayout.info/

Is Japanese keyboard works like Latin keyboard (one key pressed - one char printed) or more complicated method needed?

HI aka,

Basically, Japanese keyboard works like Latin keyboard when inputting the alphabet(one key pressed - one char printed).
But when we need to input the Japanese language it is two or three keys pressed.
In the current situation is we need alphabet input using by Japanese layout keyboard.
The Japanese keyboard layout is different from the English keyboard.
(Some special character location has differed.)

So we need to input the alphabet using the Japanese layout keyboard in the WTware login screen.

The following screen is the difference of between the English layout keyboard and the Japanese layout keyboard.
