Hi,
with Raspi 2b, 3b, 3b+ WTware was able to switch off (power off) the screen with hdmi_blanking=1 in the raspi config. This is not possible with Raspi 4.
As stated here by the Raspberry Pi Foundation, this is a problem with the Raspberry Pi 4 itself, not WTware.
My question is: When this is implemented by the Raspberry Pi Foundation, will an update of WTware be sufficient to get this function back, or has the Raspi to be booted with Raspbian to do a firmware-update or something like this? I have no idea, if this is implemented in the firmware, a driver, the operating system iteself...
Thanks, best regards
Björn

Re: RPi4 - DPMS - hdmi_blanking=1
We always release new WTware versions with the newest Raspberry firmware and kernel. Wait for WTware version that will be released after Foundation will fix the problem.
