Remove Config Prompt On Startup

Post by mhays243 » Fri Sep 01, 2017 10:32 pm

Is there a way to remove the option for local configuration at startup of WTware?..... and if not at least decrease visible time/remove the text that is displayed so that anyone wanting to play with it might be unaware of the config mode key.

I think he wants to remove the message "Press DEL to enter SETUP" during terminal boot.

Yes sadaharu, I would like Mr. aka to remove the press delete prompt as we use the online configs for them in most cases.

Install this and make new boot SD:

http://pxe.ru/files/testing/201709102140.zip

And add:

no_setup

to the very beginning of cmdline.txt file on boot SD. You should get something like:

no_setup quiet wtboot=mmc

"no_setup" should completely disable Setup menu.
"hide_setup" should hide text "Press Del", but menu will work when pressing del.
