I use several of the different models of touchscreens by Elo and some work correctly and some do not. (i know this is a know thing) but i an trying to find out if i can calibrate them and add the lines to one of the config files you have in your setup or if there is anyway possible for me to get them working?

How large is position error? When you press touchscreen, pointer moves near you finger, with a few centimeters error, or it moves to completely wrong point?

Thank you so much for a reply! The vertical direction is completely inverted but still tracks somewhat close if it were not inverted. Also i would say there is about 1-2 inches around the borders that i am not able to move the pointer too. So it is inverted as well as i can only access the center 75% of the screen. I have been able to get in to work using Raspbian with some calibration but no luck on WTware.

If you have space touchscreen you may send us one. Then we'll be able to make calibration for it. Sorry, I don't know how else we could help you.

There is no way to Calibrate within your OS? from command line or anything? it wont read it from either of the configuration files that can be manually edited? sorry it just would be very difficult to do that and seems that adding a calibrator of sorts into your command line interface might make it easier for some one to use your OS for many different displays.

For now there's no such way. We'll think about adding it.
