Post by david »

Hello,
I try to connect my server win2008 and use my eID through the smartcard reader USB connected on my Wtware.

Connection is fine except for the smartcard reader which is not recognised.

My config file :

Code: Select all

server=192.168.10.100
user=demodomain\
domain=demodomain
resolution=1280x1024
refresh=60
keyboard=fr-be
video=i810(X)
mouse_accel_mult=2.5
timezone=Romance Standard Time
scanner=off
shared_disk=floppy;cdrom;usb
smartcard=on
connection
My partial log file is :

Do I miss something ?

If I use MSTSC from my computer to the same server,
(after choosing to redirect smartcard reader), It works...

Thanks for your help.

Re: smartcard Reader VASCO for EID

Few smart cards supported by wtware. The reason is that every smartcard has linux driver. And also linux driver for smartcard usually has other behaviour than windows driver. That's whу we need the device to fix all issues. Please, attach whole log file or send it to support@wtware.com to see if we can do something for this reader. Even if we find linux driver, a long time for remote debugging is needed to support this card.

I need full terminal log.
If you use 4.4.х or 4.6.х WTware versions read:
http://wtware.ru/docs/config.html#syslog
And please, make sure to save TERMINAL log, not TFTP.
If you use 5.х version boot terminal, run configurator and on page "Logs" for needed terminal press button "press here" and "save log". Or if you don't use configurator in web-browser print terminal IP in address line and save log.
