Board alternative

Post by TaKaRa »

Hello,

I have been using WTware for years, and I have to admit that it is a great product.

But now I am faced with a dilemma. For a long time in my region it is almost impossible to get Raspberrys PI, even at exorbitant prices it is very difficult to acquire them.

Is there an alternative? Does WTware support boards like banana pi or libre computer ?

Thank you

No. Raspberry is the only ARM manufacturer that develops linux kernel for their boards.

We tried Rockchip boards before Raspberry. Ancient, unsupported kernels with terrible code quality. Never again, until some other manufacturer will make something similar to https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux - commits every week!

WTware was made for old x86 computers at first. There are a lot of old x86 around. Common ten years old Intel/AMD CPU is faster than modern ARM.
