Re: problems with various mouse

One more workaround: add "usbhid.mousepoll=0" before word "quiet" info cmdline.txt on boot SD.

I don't know more methods to fix "lacked response" from wtware side. Try it with raspbian. If problem is reproduced in raspbian, google will offer much more ideas.

Re: SimpleHelp integration

No. WTware writes directly with video card memory. External agent can not see wtware screen.

What are the best features in SimpleHelp? We currently write our own remote assistant and may implement some features.

Re: problems with various mouse

1. mouse_accel_mult = 10
https://wtware.com/docs5/config.html#mouse

2. Try to update bootloader on Pi4. There is information, that new bootloader works better with USB keyboard:

Re: OpenVPN Auto Login?

If the devs would like, I could provide a full write up with screen shots and pictures that they could use to update the documentation (especially the OpenVPN documentation page, which is really lacking) on how to provide a fully secure remote access station for an employee. Please let me know if t...

No, as far as I know. "Attached to firmware from 2019-11-19" in log is a bootcode.bin/fixup4.dat/start4.elf files date.

Re: NFC + SmartCard - only one working on the same time?

No :(

Try this one with usb token: viewtopic.php?f=27&t=49012 This will not work for terminal server, but it may work for VDI scenario, while connecting to console session.

Re: desktop set CHERRY DW 5100 with dropouts

Try to update bootloader. "recovery" section here: https://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads/

They changed something in USB hub code.

Re: Help me understand the configuration files and templates

Can I setup (though the web-interface) on a Pi Thin client the ability to switch between using a config file on the SD Card or from the wtware configurator? No. This ensures that each Pi Thin Client will work independently from a problem with my wtware server running configurator. WTware saves down...

Re: Pi 4 heat question

These new Raspberry Pi 4's have different levels of Ram available. Is there a recommendation by wtware to use Pi 4's with 1GB or 2GB or 4GB of memory? To run wtware as RDP client, 1GB is enough. Look at "memory" page at terminal http for actual memory usage. To run local Chromium (local, ...

You should implement bootloader manually as I said above: "Follow "Recovery" instruction here: https://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads/"

Re: Help me understand the configuration files and templates

My plan is to support wtware remotely (I'm not onsite at the office that I plan to use wtware and thin clients). I also don't want to mix up dhcp servers in the office by running two. So my plan was as follows: 1. Create a basic configuration file that gets a thin client on the network and booted t...

Re: VNC Viewer for dual display recommendations

I see there is a "Monitor 1" and "Montor 2" in wtware configurator. Are these used to show me what is on the screen of a running Pi thin client? If so, how do I use Monitors? "Monitor 1" and "Montor 2" tabs are needed to configure what should be placed on the...
