But you should. Google may help you with mstsc.exe, not with wtware. Go to wtware after you redirect it with mstsc.exe and understand how its works.

strace is a tool to log everyting in linux. But it's linux... In theory, simply run: strace rdesktop options-to-rdesktop and it should produce tons of log. Try to redirect all this stuff over RDP from windows machine with mstsc.exe and tell me (and show screenshots) how are you doing it.

It may be done for video=...(U) drivers only, any from (U) set. Can all your 50+ x86 clients run video=...(U)?

Mode is 8-E-1. It's not common 8-N-1. Do you really need even parity? Speed is different in this log. Seems test tried different speed to find the one that works. Video on terminal is not a good idea. RDP uses lossy compression. 1080p over RDP will be worse then 720p local.
Test network load playing video on Windows 10. Will it be more than 80Mbit? Will it look smooth connecting with USB net card?

1. Connect to usual session.
2. Run mstsc.exe
3. Connect to console.

There is no switch to connect to console session in WTware.
