Re: Dual Monitor
Also, another one can be found here: http://www.dxsoul.com/product/raspberry-pi-b-vga-shield-v2-0-blue-901369600 I like this one more because it is located on top of the HDMI port. So, is it supported? arapozo, where are you located & did you order this board ? I'm in the EU, any experience wit...

Re: Sound Card Support for Raspberry Pi
akatik: are these GFX errors a known bug when using headsets ?
I had another workstation with these errors. 5.4.90
Not sure if it is because of the setting: sound=on, hw:1:0
or because of: microphone = on

Re: Dual Monitor
I'm also interested in a solution to add a second display. Because I would like to use vtware to replace some notebook configurations. These staff members usually work with their notebook and a second larger display in extended display mode. With the RPI I would give them a second older monitor. But...

Power RPI by monitor USB port
Does anybody have experience with powering the RPI by using the display USB port ? We have displays with 1x upstream USB, and 4x downstream USB port (Fujitsu BT23-W) I found that the downstream ports only provide power when there is a signal or power detected on the upstream port. And once there is ...

Well you must be right, probably at the same moment I have allocated more CPU's to the VM.
I have now configured 2 virtual sockets * 4 cores = 8 CPU's and small resolution videos are running smoothly.
What would 3D support on a VM add to the client ?

Re: Sound Card Support for Raspberry Pi
Another challenge :-) Our displays all have a DisplayPort input. So I bought a DeLock active HDMI-A to DisplaypPort adapter (powered by USB of the RPI) to transfer video and audio from the RPI HDMI to the display. This setup works with our notebooks but with the display connected to WTware on the RP...

Re: 5.4.54-5.4.62 - new graphics for 2012R2
Found it: 3D support was not enabled on the VMware W2K16 VM - after selecting Windows 10 as the OS the 3D options became available and video is now running smoothly on the WTware client.

Our RDS server is a VM. Is there anything special I would need to do to enable RemoteFX ?
Because we experience slow and stuttering movies when we play them (e.g. Youtube movies)

Re: Sound Card Support for Raspberry Pi
The USB headset redirection works great, with setting: sound=on, hw:1:0 in config.txt Normal systems sounds are coming out the jack, Skype uses the headset. With one exception it seems: when the user unplugs the headset it looks like the server is not directly aware of it. When you check the sound s...
