Re: RDP using a USB to Parallels Cable Receipt Priner
OK. I think I won't be doing that but if I ever need to access the printers properties at least I know what to do. Thanks for all the help. Most importantly it is working.

Re: RDP using a USB to Parallels Cable Receipt Priner
I tried leaving the services with the startup mentioned in the guide but they revert to their original value. I called my tech support and said that these values where default system values and to not change them.
Do you have any clue on what to do to make it run without changing these?

Re: RDP using a USB to Parallels Cable Receipt Priner
I found the solution. It was on my end of the server. I had to follow these instruccions. One of my services was on Manual and had to be Automatic.

Re: RDP using a USB to Parallels Cable Receipt Priner
I was trying to create a script that would change the port to the correct TS port if the one I used while manually adding the printer would change. I found a script called prnmngr and while doing tests I listed all of the printers and that is where the printer appeared. Although the printer is not ...

This is the log when I've previously added the printer manually. I don't know if something changes or not.

Re: RDP using a USB to Parallels Cable Receipt Priner
here is the Log. It still isn't registering the printer but like I mentioned above I have managed to make it work manually adding the printer with before mentioned port. Is there something we can do?

Re: RDP using a USB to Parallels Cable Receipt Priner
Same user and same server.
I don't see the build.
I was playing around and I was able to make it work on WTware when I manually added the printer through control panel and used the following port.

P.S. It still doesn't appear with this new build. Do I have to do something else than just write the configuration in the configuration file?

The printer does appear when I connect using MSTC and if I disconnect it disappears. You can see it as the default printer and with the proper name Generic / Text Only (redirected 24) which changes according the session I get.
