Deactivation of the "mDNS" service port 5353 (WTwareClient)?

Hi,

Is there a way to switch off the "mDNS" service in WTware clients, port 5353 is blocked in our system, this only causes an unnecessary flood of packets in the firewall and at the same time puts a strain on the network?

with kind regards

Re: tls 1.0/1.1 and ssh cbc cipher disabled ?

Disabling TLS 1.0/1.1 was successful, our security scans look better now, thanks 8) . I will try again with the current version 6.2.6 WTware https web interface accepts SSLv2 (older than tls 1.0) for years because of ancient wget.exe using in windows scripts. No one was worried. Until this week. Now...

tls 1.0/1.1 and ssh cbc cipher disabled ?

Hi,

is there a possibility to disable tls 1.0/1.1 for (https) access on the Wtware web interface as well as to disable cbc cipher for (ssh) access?

These have been noticed negatively during internal network-scans and are considered to be security critical.

with kind regards

Change SIP User and Password in the Linphone-Box

Hi, would it be possible for the user in the Linphone-Box to change the login data himself? We have 60 Wtware Pi's and would like to use the SIP Linphone function, but we have a connection that allows the user to log on to their VM via IP/Hostname, so each user can log on to a different workstation,...

2-4K resolution possible?

we want to buy 2K or 4k monitors, but in the "Raspberry firmware config.txt" you can only set a maximum resolution of 1920x1200. We currently need a resolution of 2560x1440 on only one display, the second display HDMI port is not used. Later then a resolution of 3840 x 2160 We use Raspberr...

Problems with OpenVPN version 2.5.1+

Since we have updated our VPN gateway and only the new certificates support the OpenVPN version 2.5.1+, these newly created certificates apparently no longer work with WTWare. Here the following error message appears in the bootsector (with new certificate for version 2.5.+): File: initrfConfig.cpp ...

Link to firmware is broken

Driver on this terminal needs firmware. In browser open the page: https://wtware.com/fw Find in the list the file: brcm/brcmfmac43455-sdio.raspberrypi,4-model-b.txt Click on it. Will be downloaded zip archive. Do not unpack or rename it! Archive must be named: WTFW_brcm_brcmfmac43455-sdio.raspberry...

Main Pipe problem

Hello aka, since the last time we test the sound and microphone capability with Wtware > VPN > RDP Session (microphone= on, hw1:0 and sound=on, hw1:0), for a while it worked quite well with USB headset, but since yesterday we have the problem with "Main Pipe Error" which only appears when ...

Perhaps, solution was:
One more workaround: add "usbhid.mousepoll=0" before word "quiet" info cmdline.txt on boot SD.
:D I'm back 8)

no problem, can happen sometimes
