I have found a workaround for this. Once you connect the USB host cable to a 5v usb phone charger you will trick the monitor into thinking it is connected and will thus enable the power to the usb ports. I formatted my SD card and copied the new version. Now it boots. I wanted to ask because it kind of defeats the purpose of having a tftp server. (as a side note, it seems booting is way slower in comparison to version 5.4.22. It hangs on please wait for about 15 seconds, before with the old version ...

Not booting after update

Dear all, I updated from version 5.4.22 to the newest 5.4.32. I changed the 067 bootfile name in my DHCP server to the new version. The raspberry pi 2 tries to boot, but stops on starting kernel. When the client is on starting kernel, and i click on "Press here to get log from terminal" it...

From BOOTP boroadcast 1 to Retry takes about 2 seconds.
2.
Placed it on the SD, and it fixed the problem :mrgreen: (see enclosed picture).

Thank you very much for your help. Is this going to be fixed in a future release, or do i have to change a setting on my switch?
