WTware on SD is a very small OS. You can leave all OS files on SD and load configuration files from HTTP.

the idea is to use this combination for home worker. so i could distribute simple usb sticks to the employees with only a small os and simple patching. the full os image is only at one point on the http server, where it is easy to maintain.

Is there a posibility to combine usb- and http-boot process?

i would like to start the boot process from usb stick with the necessary options for http boot (i don't want to distribute the http options via dhcp) and then download the wtware client image from the http boot server.
