On x86, WTware supports dual screen on motherboards with two video connectors. So we can do it for Pi2.
But we have never tried USB video.
Did you try USB-DVI adapter with Windows? I think it should be terribly slow.

Dual Screen Compatibility

Hi,

I was wondering if this would support dual screen setups. I currently have a test rig with a USB - DVI Display Adapter.

If so, does the dual screen support feature multi monitor or does it simply span the main display over two screens.

Thanks
