1. WTware will not work with early Pis, only Pi 2 and Pi 3 is coming soon.
2. I have never heard about Wifi dropping out with long periods of inactivity. Should work, if it is not access point bug.

Hi,

I've been using RasPI for a couple of years now to rdp onto Windows VM via the little Wireless dongles.
Had a big issue at first with the wifi connection being lost.
Found we had to change wifi power management settings and aloso have a cron routine to ping something every 5 mins.
This was with early PI,s then we got a couple of later ones B I guess and that became something I failed to fix, so resorted to a cable connection.

Is the WTware offering robust from wifi drop out with long periods of keyboard and mouse inactivity?

Thanks

At first, download 5.4.22 and rewrite SD card. At the very beginning of boot press Del to Enter Setup. In text menu change network to Wifi and specify your Wifi settings.
