Confirmed this is working with the newest version. When I close the Chrome tab it brings me back to the list of connections.

Please, try 5.8.42 version. It should contain fix about closing Chrome and return to menu.

In the next version we will teach chrome to return to menu instead of closing. We have more than one request, so it will be in the next version.

I explained my use case above, I don't want to run them simultaneously, I want to be able to close chrome and return to the list of connection choices. This is used in the event a user forgets their password to log into the RDP session, or it has expired, they can open the self service password portal in chrome, reset their password, close chrome, and open the RDP session. Perhaps a 'chrome_norespawn' flag could be added to the next version, or perhaps give the option in the menu that pops up when you move the mouse to the bottom-right corner of the screen to close the browser just like you can a RDP session.

I can make the 'next screen' option work for me though as even though the browser gets left open it is still out of the way.

There's no such possibility. Why do you need using Chrome and RDP on one screen? I suppose it would be better to run Chrome and RDP on different virtual screens simultaneously?

Ability to close Chrome and return to desktop with list of connections?

by effin_dead_again » Thu Dec 20, 2018 8:55 pm

Is there an ability to return to the 'desktop' with the list of configured connections when chrome is closed instead of chrome reopening every time it is closed? We use chrome for timeclock and password self-service portal, but need to be able to close chrome and return to the connections list to open an RDP session after chrome has been closed.

Please advise. Thank you!
