WTware on Raspberry Pi 3 with USB scanner
WTware on Raspberry Pi 3 with USB scanner
Hello, could you please help me? I´m curently using raspberry Pi3 with Wtware and scanner Symbol LS2208 connected via RS232 emulator. I want to connect it just by usb cabel, so raspberry will have to power the scanner. Would you think, that it will make problems, or is it ok to connect it that way?
Re: WTware on Raspberry Pi 3 with USB scanner
I expect two problems:
1. Not enough power.
2. No drivers in wtware for usb-serial bridge in scanner.
Try it with "serial=com1(usb)" in wtware config. If not working, show the log: http://wtware.com/logs.html

Re: WTware on Raspberry Pi 3 with USB scanner
We've just updated our manual about logs - http://wtware.com/docs5/logs.html, please read it and make problem log again. From boot to first error. I need full problem log, with boot messages, config and other.
