Redirect smart card reader connected to Raspberry on Virtual Machine windows 7 for digital signature

Post by andrea »

Hello.
I have a smart card reader connected to a raspberry pi 3 with which I connect via wtware to rdp on vm with windows 7 x 64 as the operating system on which I should digitally sign documents.

-Digital signature software is aruba sign.     https://ca.arubapec.it/downloads/ArubaSign-3.1.6.exe
- The smart card software link  is http://www.regione.toscana.it/documents ... d46b68a8ad
-The smart card reader's link http://support.gemalto.com/fileadmin/us ... PcCCID.exe.

I recently tried using the DIKE program instead of Arubasign
Dike also asks me to insert the pin but later tell me that the certified are not found

This is the log that appears on vm when I connect to rdp by raspberry running sc_listReaders:
Context  0xcd10000-
Found reader:  ‘ACS ACR39U ICC Reader 0’.
Found reader:   ‘CASTLES EZCCID Smart Card Reader 0’.
Found reader:   ‘Gemplus USB SmartCard Reader 0’.
Found card: “ Bit4id Athena 1”.
Found card: “ Bit4id ME CC 0”.
Found card: “ Bit4id ME CC 1”.
Found card: “ Bit4id ME FIPS 0”.
Found card: “ Bit4id ME FIPS V3”.
Found card: “ Bit4id ME Iz 0”.
Found card: “ Incard  FFS”.
Found card: “ Incard  JS2048”.
Found card: “ Incard  JS2048DSD”.
Found card: “ Oberthur COSMO 0”.
Opening the aruba sign program says it does not find the smart card drivers or certificates
If I connect the smart card reader to a physical machine and with this I connect to a remote desktop at the usual VM I can sign the documents, the aruba sign program recognizes the paper and the certificates
This is the log on the physical machine that I connected the smart card reader to the inserted card:

Microsoft Windows [Versione 6.2.9200]
C:\>sc_listReaders
Context 0xcd010000.
Found reader: 'Gemalto USB Smart Card Reader 0'.
Found card: "  Bit4id Athena 1".
Found card: "  Incard  FFS".
Found card: "  Incard  JS2048".
Found card: "  Incard  JS2048DSD".
Found card: "  Oberthur COSMO 0".
Found card: "  Oberthur COSMO 1".
Found card: "  Oberthur COSMO 2".
Found card: "  Oberthur COSMO 2048".
Found card: "  Oberthur COSMO 2048CIE".
Found card: "  Oberthur COSMO 3".

At the same time on the VM to which I link to sign the document, this log appears:
Microsoft Windows [Versione 6.1.7601]
Copyright (c) 2009 Microsoft Corporation. Tutti i diritti riservati
C:\>sc_listReaders
Context 0xcd010000.
Found reader: 'Gemalto USB Smart Card Reader 0'.
Found card: "  Bit4id Athena 1".
Found card: "  Bit4id ME CC 0".
Found card: "  Bit4id ME CC 1".
Found card: "  Bit4id ME FIPS 0".
Found card: "  Bit4id ME FIPS V3".
Found card: "  Bit4id ME Iz 0".
Found card: "  Incard  FFS".
Found card: "  Incard  JS2048".
Found card: "  Incard  JS2048DSD".
Found card: "  Oberthur COSMO 0".

This is my configuration file:

server= --new--
keyboard=it
language=it,default
graphic=abcdefg
sound=on,stereo
disk=usb
shared_disk=usb
printer=usb
scanner=on
smartcard=gempctwin, acr39u, ezzccid

I also asked if the following reader could be added:
Minilector Bit4id 38u
I kindly ask for a support if possible to solve the problem
I just wanted to know if the log files I sent you can be useful for the solution and if you need anything else.
Thanks

thanks for your answer.
The log files that are needed must be:
1. the virtual pc with os windows 7 on which I installed the digital signature software
I access from the raspberry pi3 via rdp
The smart card reader is connected to the raspberry
2. The physical pc on which I installed wtware I use to create the sd card for the raspberry pi 3
3. the physical pc I connected the snart card reader with which I connected it to rdp to vm on which I installed the digital signature software to test if it works (and works)

Thanks again

1. Connect reader to Raspberry.
2. Boot until windows login.
3. Таке wtware log from raspberry: http://wtware.com/logs.html
I just want to know reader's USB ID to find Linux driver.

Hello
I connected the badge reader to the raspberry, and pc windows \ wtware center \ ip raspberry with smart reader \ button "press here to get log from terminal" appears
"Internal loggin error at line 516"
If I do this with the raspberry that I did not link to raspberry, the problem does not exist and the log appears
The error persists even if I disconnect the smart card reader
I do not understand
Vm are identical except for digital signature software where needed.
They all come from the only vm-master
Thanks for your patience

Error in error-recovery tools :(
Remove all unnecessary lines from config file.
Reboot terminal.
Open terminal IP in veb browser instead of configurator. And open "Log" page. Save log here.

Hello,
I gave a cleanup to config and configurator.
Now let me know from the log file I have attached.
Continue to give the message that it does not have the correct drivers if I connect the reader to raspberry and raspberry to vm.
She sees the reader and the inserted card but not the certificates
If I connect the player to a windows pc and from the remote desktop to the usual vm I can digitally sign the documents.
Thanks again for patience

1. Read this manual again: http://wtware.com/docs5/smartcard.html We added new tool in "smartcard.zip" here. Run it in mstsc.exe session with redirected reader and collect information for one card. Send it to support@wtware.com
2. Make me a log with ONE error. Reboot client, login, run application, insert the same card as before and save a log when something goes wrong. And write, what were you doing and what happened on the screen.

Hello
I also send you what you asked for.
I also sent it to support@wtware.com some time ago.
I attach the requested file hoping that this can solve the problem.
Maybe it might be of help to others who use smart card readers and digital signature.
Thank you

Hello,
Please, resend me to support@wtware.com once again your log. I can't find it.
Describe all the actions that you performed during this log.
And - it's important - save log as soon as you see the first error. After the first error do not perform any actions, save log and send it to me.

Hello ,
for redirecting the smart card reader from raspberry pi to pc windows
I purchased a smart card reader omnikey 3021 (https://www.amazon.it/dp/B00AE77NAY/ref ... Izb3EV0RVR)
I wrote in the configuration file:
smartcard = omni3021, debug
or
smartcard = omni3x21, debug
but the inserted card is not detected in the Windows 7x64 Virtual Machine
If instead I connect the smart card reader to a PC, and from there to the Virtual Machine Windows 7x64, the card is detected
I attach the log file
the version is 5.6.22
Thanks for your help
