Re: WiFi to Ethernet Bridge

No, we can not. It's impossible to bridge encrypted WiFi to someone and at the same time use the same WiFi on bridged host. Hardware WiFi bridge - real bridge - does not use WiFi by itself, only redirects. I know two workarounds. 1. Routing. It can be done, but YOU should understand what you're doin...

Re: Unable to change RDP server background

Can you change background color and image connectiong with mstsc.exe from windows machine? If no, it's server restriction.

In wtware there is config option to enable background image:

Code: Select all

Re: WTware failing to boot from hard drive, sometimes grub screen

Update: we need log AFTER INSTALLATION.

1. Install wtware again.
2. When wtware finishes installation and writes "reboot now", do not reboot. Instead, press ESC. It should run command prompt.
3. From command prompt run command "log" as written in logging manual.

Re: Change initrd.wtc online

No such setting on web-interface. Because it is the easy way to make client, located in remote office, unbootable with wrong setting. You can edit it on device. Press Del at the very beginning of boot to enter Setup menu. If you REALLY understand what you are doing, go to "Files in /config fold...

Re: Board alternative

Is there an alternative? Does WTware support boards like banana pi or libre computer ? No. Raspberry is the only ARM manufacturer that develops linux kernel for their boards. We tried Rockchip boards before Raspberry. Ancient, unsupported kernels with terrible code quality. Never again, until some ...

Re: x86 RDP Throwing Errors on Log

What is "changing screen" ? I see nothing wrong in this log. But this is a small part of log. Please, 1. Close wtware configurator on computer that gets disconnected. Do not open wtware configurator on the computer we are debugging. 2. Reboot computer that gets disconnected. 3. On another ...

Re: RDP using a USB to Parallels Cable Receipt Priner

On my freshly installed system "Device Setup Manager" is "Manual (Trigger Start)". Not "Automatic". And it starts. I don't know which event triggers it, but it does. Perhaps, reinstall the system is a solution? I have no better ideas.

Re: VNC Resolution Error

Slowly download large images over network to downscale it on client side is not the best idea. No, we can not scale in VNC client. Perhaps, VNC server can scale? I don't use mac, but I saw screenshots with wtware connecting to mac via RDP. In RDP, client asks for screen resolution, so problem with r...

Re: RDP using a USB to Parallels Cable Receipt Priner

The printer does appear when I connect using MSTC and if I disconnect it disappears. You can see it The same server, the same user? P.S. It still doesn't appear with this new build. Do I have to do something else than just write the configuration in the configuration file? Config file is correct. L...
