Circling back on this, the delay seems to be with our network establishing a call through to our data centre and establishing the connection.
It does not seem to be an issue of the SIP client.

Hi, Firstly - great software - thank you very much. I'm using a RPI 3 model B. All works well except the SIP client is a little slow to dial out.
