Re: Mouse Scroll problem
hey aka! I bumped this thread because I find myself trying wtware connecting to a ubuntu server 16 running xrdp. Everything works as it should, but the scroll wheel in my mouse still doesn't. If I change the same pi to a server that runs Windows Server, the scroll wheel works just fine. Is this a xr...

Hangout session!
Since this has become one of the most active parts of WTware forum, I thought it would be a good idea to maybe hold a hangout session with people using WTware, being on x86 or raspberry, to share experience on this great great solution that is WTware. I guess we have people from all over the world h...

Re: Pi as USB2Parallel printserver - issues
Not adding anything useful to this discussion, but these old paralell printers can be a real pain the in a**! I still have to maintain some working here, and they suck. We have to stick around to some XP workstations because of them. But soon enough they'll all be gone since we're implementing all d...

Re: VNC session dropping
Aka, I think my setup was indeed the failure point. Turns out, if I load a VNC session with "depth 16" the problem does not happens! it only happens when I work with 32 bits sessions. So, I configured the server to load 16 bits sessions, and edited config.txt to set framebuffer_depth=16. W...

Re: VNC session dropping
here are the logs after some drops.
Just trying to help here, but it seems that whenever there's too much mouse usage, or some "effects" on screen, like a website with some sort of flash animation, this happens.
thanks aka.

VNC session dropping
Hey guys, hey aka! Happy holidays! I have a strange problem with 5.4.66 (that was happening with 5.4.62 too!). The VNC sessions ends abruptly and a blue screen appears with the message - "I'm tired" If the user press ENTER, or hit OK, the session reconnects with no problem. This is happeni...

Keyboard layout configuration on VNC server
Hi! I'm doing some tests connecting WTware to a VNC server (using server=vnc:IP:port). It's working great so far, but I cannot pass the correct keyboard layout to the server. If I set "keyboard=pt-br" , the default keyboard (en-us) is still passed to the VNC server. Is this supposed to wor...

Re: Mouse Scroll problem
aka, I tried with two other mouses, different brands, same results.
Anyway, I dont think this is really important, my only hope was that was something easy to fix, but dont waste your time with that aka.
Thanks anyways!

Re: Mouse Scroll problem
Hey aka, lets try again
Scroll is the tiny wheel on the mouse, that lets you, well, scroll up and down items, webpages, etc...
FreeRDP is what supports remote connections on Linux, and WTware is able to make rdp connection to it, that is working.
