For everybody else:
Two ways:
first:
but your wg.conf file in the config Folder of the sd-card. It will work as described with openvpn just by doing that.
By doing this, the first boot with the assistant for the network connection stays in place for the user.
second:
boot the terminal and enter setup. Config network connection and choose Wireguard VPN. As described in the displayed help text, add an usb device with the wg.conf file in root directory. The file will then be added.
Con: The Network Assistant for the user on first boot at home is gone.
